Born and raised in North Vancouver BC, Adrian To began studying piano at the age of seven. Adrian holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of British Columbia (UBC) where he studied under Dr. Corey Hamm, and a Bachelor of Education from UBC (anticipated May 2022). Adrian has been an award winner in various competition and music festivals in the North Shore and in the lower mainland. He is also a recipient of multiple scholarships and awards including: the Norah Mansell Music Scholarship, Maurice Taylor Scholarship in Music, and the Stanley Chuck Cheun Leung Memorial Scholarship. During his time at UBC, Adrian was the resident pianist for the UBC Symphonic Wind Ensemble for three years, working closely with conductor Dr. Robert Taylor and various guest composers from Canada and the United States.

Above all, Adrian believes that a sincere interest in student development, willingness to openly communicate, and trust creates a positive and safe educational environment for all students.
