Nina Vu holds a Bachelor of Music (Piano) from the University of British
Columbia (2018), where she studied under the tutelage of Miranda Wong. She
has been the recipient of many scholarships, including the Mildred Johnson
Scholarship in Music and the Stanley Chuck Cheun Leung Scholarship. During
her university career, she has collaborated with various instrumentalists and vocalists for performances and examinations, and was a member of the UBC
Women’s Choir as the accompanist.
Nina is a pianist, accompanist, and collaborative artist, but an equally active teacher, with over eight years of private teaching experience in the Vancouver area. She has prepared students for the Royal Conservatory of Music examination system in both Piano and Music Theory disciplines. She also currently holds an Associate Royal Conservatory of Toronto (A.R.C.T.) Diploma in Piano Performance.
Nina has taught students of all ages and levels, striving to help strengthen and develop their technique, dexterity, artistry, and musicianship. She hopes to extend her knowledge to a new wave of musicians, in such a way that it continues to spark their curiosity and nurture their enjoyment for the art of piano.
