Dio Piano School Presenting
Crescendo International Music Competitions
We are proud to announce that Dio Piano School in West Vancouver has been appointed as the presenter and primary organizer, and director of the renowned and prestigious Crescendo and Little Mozart International Music Competitions in BC. These competitions offer aspiring musicians the opportunity to showcase their talent and compete at the highest level.
The competitions are divided into two rounds, with the first round in BC taking place at Dio Piano School in West Vancouver. All the participants can register through Dio Piano School for either in-person or online video submission auditions. Winners of the competition will have the honour of performing at the historical and prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that is a dream for many musicians.
- All First, Second, and Third Place winners of the first-round audition will be invited to perform in the Chan Center on May 30, 2026, with no performance fee required.
- In addition, First and Second Place winners will also have the chance to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York on February 7, 2026.
- Date: Saturday, November 29, 2025
- Location: Dio Piano School, West Vancouver, BC

- To be eligible for Carnegie Hall, students must receive at least Second Place (Third Place winners are not eligible for Carnegie Hall).
- All First, Second, and Third Place winners are invited to perform at the prestigious Chan Centre in May 2026.
- The opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall is separate from the Chan Centre performance, meaning qualifying students may perform in both. Winners who receive First or Second Place may perform at both the Chan Centre and Carnegie Hall.
- For this special year — 2026 ONLY — there will be no performance fee for winners performing at the Chan Centre (only). However, there will be a small admission fee for the audience attending the Chan Centre concert.
