Dio Piano School Presenting

Crescendo International Music Competitions

We are proud to announce that Dio Piano School in West Vancouver has been appointed as the presenter and primary organizer, and director of the renowned and prestigious Crescendo and Little Mozart International Music Competitions in BC. These competitions offer aspiring musicians the opportunity to showcase their talent and compete at the highest level.

The competitions are divided into two rounds, with the first round in BC taking place at Dio Piano School in West Vancouver. All the participants can register through Dio Piano School for either in-person or online video submission auditions. Winners of the competition will have the honour of performing at the historical and prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that is a dream for many musicians.

Dio Piano School will be proudly hosting the in-person first round of the Crescendo International Music Competition 2026  here in BC, West Vancouver.

This is a unique and rare occasion for our hardworking young musicians to step onto one of the most inspiring stages in British Columbia:

  • All First, Second, and Third Place winners of the first-round audition will be invited to perform in the Chan Center on May 30, 2026, with no performance fee required.
  • In addition, First and Second Place winners will also have the chance to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York on February 7, 2026.
We are all responsible for helping our students not lose such meaningful opportunities when they are available right here in BC. This experience can be life-changing, inspiring students to grow artistically, strengthen their confidence, and find deeper motivation through the joy of performance.

The benefits of in-person performances are immeasurable. They help students develop stage presence, artistic maturity, and the courage to shine on some of the world’s most respected stages. Beyond that, winners will also have the opportunity to get selected for the international student exchange programs in countries such as Italy, France, and Japan, Germany and more, offering even broader artistic and cultural horizons.

Since the deadline is approaching, we highly encourage all students and teachers to complete registration and prepare for the First Round of the Audition on November 29, 2025, at Dio Piano School.
