I can't say enough how thankful I am getting my son enrolled at Dio. My son started taking piano classes late May this year. He could barely recognize notes 3 months ago but is now working on rcm 2 exam and also able to understand music. I found it really helpful is that , at Dio, they often arrange recitals/competitions where students get more chance to perform what they have learned. Music is an Art, u share your feelings and stories by performing to the audience ! My son is also doing theory class in group , he struggled at first but I can see that he improved a lot on sight reading and is able to decode the piece he works on. He also get more motivated now when it comes to piano practice as he knows other kids are also doing the same so he is not alone : ) Thanks Hiva & Dio and all the amazing staff!!

I take piano lessons at Dio Piano School. Very nice environment all people are nice. We are so happy with the improvement of my both daughters. They started as beginners and are now both preparing for RCM exams. The quality of the pianos and also all the teachers are so nice and knowledgeable pianists and professional. My daughters and I recommend Dio Piano School if you want to start learning to play piano at any age or level. Thanks to Dio Piano School!

Dio and his professional group of Piano aficionados, are exactly what we’ve been searching for, to help our little music lover move ahead with his passion of playing the Piano. This school works on creating foundational pillars to build future success. We have been searching non-stop to find this sort of coaching. We, as residents of lower mainland, are lucky to host Dio’s piano school!! My eight year old is on his 3rd session, and already on-boarded to full set of scales, triads, as he has fun playing songs at the same time. Having fun with theories (foundations) as he also plays the notes on the side. I recommend this school, to anyone who is interested in learning music from bottom up and have fun doing it. Of course I can’t say enough about the setup of the actual school. Multiple rooms, proper scheduling and mechanisms to ensure at home practices… I can’t cover everything in one review. If you are lucky enough to get a spot, I highly recommend taking it. We did and enjoying every bit of it (worth the one hour drive from Port Moody to west van)!

Staff members all are professional and very friendly. My kids really love the friendly environment and I can really see their progress and improvement obviously. My kids enjoy the sessions as well as me and now they are showing their enthusiasm in learn piano from the day I changed their piano school to Dio Piano school.
